I have created this blog for the express purpose of getting things off my chest, so to speak.
The first of which, is :

I joined TalkTalk from BT on 11 June and from that day until 12 July I was unable to access either My Account or Webmail. When I queried this via chat and main line, I was told that the system tools were being upgraded and that I would be up and running in 28 days.
As a consequence of this shoddy treatment of a new customer, I cancelled my TalkTalk DD and have since refused to pay any charges for June. As a result of this, I received a letter from TalkTalk offering me £2 compensation. To be fair on TalkTalk this could well be a typo that omitted one or two zeros.
Today, I received a call from TalkTalk informing me that My Account and Wedmail are free services and that if I did not pay the June charges for broadband, line rental and phone, they would put the matter in the hands of debt collectors.
I shall probably end up paying for June: life is too short. But, to be honest. I regret leaving BT. They are expensive, but I can’t fault their service. Alas, life, after all, is a learning process.

I consider this a pretty good intro to my new blog and hope to include more such stunning stuff: the Bush & Blair responsibility for the present appalling situation in Iraq. For instance.

Keep your powder dry!
